To polish up my speech I need to rehearse more and incorporate how I will be using a video to showcase my skill. Right now I have a pretty good outline of what I want to say, I have a well thought out introducation and I have all of the steps finalized. But, I do need to come up with how I am going to end my speech. I am thinking about writing about how the pottery class has changed my view on art and what I plan to do with this skill– but I need to find out how I want to word my response. For the video, I need to separate it into segments and know where each break is for when I am speaking. I am planning on describing two to three steps at a time and then showing those steps on video directly after.  As for the rehearsal, I definitely need to brush up on my outline and begin going over my speech how I would like to present it. I think it is important to go over my speech as much as I can because I would like to work on my eye contact and being more confident in what I am saying. I am planning on giving my speech to my roommates and listening to their feedback about delivery and content. I think this will be a good thing for me to do because it will hopefully get rid of my nerves of speaking about this for the first time and I will hopefully be as prepared as I can be for when class time comes.
